stress, role strain, feeling overwhelmed with responsibilities

low self-esteem, self-worth, and self-confidence

relationship difficulties, including parenting difficult children

grief

major life transitions including separation, divorce, remarriage, step-parenting

health issues including autoimmune disease and chronic pain

a toxic workplace; social exclusion

Therapy provides a supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, gain clarity, and develop strategies to move forward.

Improve relationships by understanding your needs and communication style

Process past experiences and find ways to move forward

Build confidence and self-compassion to create a more fulfilling life

Approaches

I am educated and trained in the core approaches to psychotherapy, which allows me to draw from a variety of methods to best support each individual client. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach, so I tailor my techniques to meet the unique needs and preferences of each person I work with. My approach integrates a range of therapeutic modalities, including:

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors;

Humanistic Therapy, which emphasizes self-actualization, personal growth, and the importance of empathy and authenticity; and

Psychodynamic Therapy, which delves into unconscious processes and how past experiences shape present behaviors.

By blending these and other approaches, including Narrative, Acceptance and Commitment, Existential, etc. I can offer a personalized treatment plan that empowers clients to work through their challenges and move toward healing and growth in a way that feels right for them.
